October 4: Jungle Club 5K Run For the Moonshot Moment

The annual Jungle Club 5K Run, Indian River County’s premier 5K race, is in its 23rd year!

Since its inception, over 3,500 runners have completed this event and more than $65,000 has been raised for local charities.  From humble beginnings, 70 participants ran in 1992, and 2014 is expected to see even more runners complete the course.  The field is truly diverse with an “Under Age 10 Pre-Race” and 5K competitors ranging from club athletes to fun runners and teenagers to octogenarians.

This year’s chosen charity is The Learning Alliance’s “Moonshot Sports” group:

We hope you will join us to support such a worthy, transformational cause.  For more information on how to enter a team or to sponsor the event (with sponsorships ranging from $50 to $1,500), please contact Katie Smith, Jungle Club, at 772-567-1400 or Marie O’Brien, The Learning Alliance, at 772-532-1968.
